A. Dave Jongleux, CPA

Dave Jongleux founded the firm now known as Jongleux CPA Group, P.C. in November of 1985, after 11 years of corporate experience.  Dave has seen the firm grow from a one-person operation to a team of six. His previous corporate positions included Senior EDP Auditor for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Indiana from 1977 to 1981 and Internal Audit Manager for Anacomp, Inc. from 1981 to 1985.

Dave was born in Oak Park, Illinois but grew up in Indianapolis and attended Brebeuf Preparatory School. Dave received his BS degree in Accounting from Marian University in Indianapolis in 1974, and achieved the CPA designation in 1979.  Dave, who is an avid sports fan, played baseball at Marian and in 2001 was named to the Marian University Sports Wall of Fame.

Dave has held leadership positions in a variety of professional and community organizations. Dave has been a member of the Board of Directors of Marquette Manor Foundation since 1990 and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of Retirement Living, Inc., the non-profit entity that owns the Marquette retirement community.  He is also involved in Marian University where he is currently serving as the M-Club chairman.

Dave was very active in the Indiana CPA Society where he participated on the Management of Accounting Practice (MAP) committee for six years and served as chairman for 2 of those years. Dave was also instrumental in forming the Small Firm and the RAN ONE knowledge network groups. These groups are accounting practitioners who meet monthly to discuss common issues and concerns in the industry. 

Dave served on the Board of Directors of Broadmoor Country Club for six years.  Dave and  his wife Lynn have been members of Broadmoor since 1987.

Over the years Dave has worked extensively with many entrepreneurs and start-up business in guiding them through the growing pains that challenge all small businesses.
